Job vacancies increased by 11,800 (+2.4%) in the first quarter of 2026 to 506,700. This was the first increase in job vacancies since the second quarter of 2022. Job vacancies rose for full-time (+7,700; +2.1%) and part-time (+4,100; +3.3%) occupations, as well as for permanent (+7,400; +1.8%) and temporary (+4,400; +5.0%) positions.
